March 8, 2018 – Otago Peninsula, New Zealand
We spend our time in Dunedin to do piles of laundry and to get our camper ready for more freedom camping. Of course we also walked up the steepest street in the world – Baldwin Street.
Overnight we had another great free spot right by the water on the Otago Peninsula where we stayed for two nights. It’s not easy to find anything on the Peninsula since they unfortunately prohibit freedom camping at most places so we were lucky to stumble over that beautiful spot. We spend some time at Allan’s Beach and saw two royal Albatrosses on the upper tip of Otago. Unfortunately no more penguin sightings though (although Levi was wearing his penguin overall).
